Big Fire

A big fire occurred a couple of days ago at around 4:00am. We were awakened by the noise and were super scared because the burned building was just next to ours! Unbelievably most of the people were in deep sleep and nobody informed us to get out. Maybe they thought everything would be in the control. But anyway, we could not fall in sleep again like nothing had happened...The third floor was almost burned out and the next unit was also seriously damaged. You know, most of the American houses are build of wood, so they burn very quickly, especially there are a few trees around that building. After half an hour or so, the fire was ultimately put out, but still there were huge smoke around. The good news is that so far there is no report that anybody got hurt in this accident. The reason is still unknown and the damaged houses are under repairs these days. The residents have to be arranged to live in somewhere else. Pray for our neighbors.
